Marc Laferrière |
Spiritual son of Sidney Bechet, in a bid to interpret his idol’s success, Marc Laferrière chose to play soprano saxaphone. As an orchestra conductor, he knew how to create a special relationship with his musicians and with his audience, who were won over by the cheerful swing music, light and pure, unburdened, and close to the origins of jazz. This great artiste’s talent is best characterised by his « joie de vivre » and love of sharing his music

Oratorio d’Antonio Caldara |
|
Alain Buet |
The musical richness of this oratorio takes us by surprise, and seems to bear witness to a time when sacred music was treated as « theatre in Church ». It can be surprising to see how A.Caldara has been so inventive in producing this religious piece, approaching it from a human passion angle. Supported by the exceptional qualities of his vocal ensemble, A.Buet allows us to discover these beautiful pieces of music in the manner of a mini opera..

|
Bryan Evans |
Emotional drama from the end of the 18th century in Naples, in which Mozart lets us plunge headlong into the sensual beauty of his music of love, and point fun at the 4 young people and their attitudes and pretence. This music, like a serenade, creates a magnificent atmosphere of sensual pleasure, interpreted by Diva Opera, whose members are as talented musically as they are irresistible comedians. |
