MUSICAL EVENINGS IN ROMAN VENDEE
PROGRAMME FOR 2008
10th edition. Organised by the Association of the " Petites Cités de Caractère de la Vendée ", this festival is a part of the Fédération Française des Festivals Internationaux de Musique. Each evening, the artistes perform against the outstanding back-drop of the 5 communes which act as settings for these concerts, communes whose architectural heritages are displayed to their best for the occasion.

    One of the most prominent drummers in the world, Manu Katché has accompanied Peter Gabriel, Joni Mitchell, Sting, Dire Straits … His latest album " Playground " was released in September 2007. His participation on the jury of the M6 programme "La nouvelle star " brought him to the attention of a wider public.

    With Lucky Peterson, the blues gets a new burst of energy. On stage, he explodes musical frontiers and explores funk, rock and jazz. This "blues-master" developed his own style from an early age and carries on this ancestral tradition. Lucky Peterson - singer with a " fearsome " guitar - is a shining example of a musical bridge-builder, redefining this musical style!
