| Gite at Saint-Pierre-le-Vieux (Swamp of Poitou) - Vendee |
We are delighted to welcome you to our gîte "Le Fief Grondin", classified as a three star (3 clés) property by CléVacances, situated in the heart of the Swamp of Poitou.
Situated on a hillside overhanging the marais, our gîte in an old independent barn renovated in 2007. Its forms part of a farm that we have patiently and passionately restaured.
Our home, its outhouses and the gîte, are situated in a hectare of hedged farm land with a view over the marais and Maillezais abbey.

The gîte has a living area of 95m² and can accomodate 3 - 5 people. Situated close to our home, its is a completely independent property with terrace and a private garden area of 600m²
We have combined the original stones with a modern layout to create a warm and convivial living area.
The ground floor is organised around a large, light living room of 48m². The seating area to one corner is equiped with a sofa, two armchairs and a sofa bed, a television with TNT and a DVD player.
The 10m² kitchen is kitted out with newly-installed quality equipement including a dishwasher, over, microwave, induction hob, fridge freezeer and washing machine. There is a shower room and a separate toilet.
On the first floor the gite has two bedrooms on a mezzanine level : one bedroom with a double bed and the other with a single bed. Baby aquipement (bed, high chair, bath, bicycle seat) are available on request.

Outside, the gite has a sunny terrasse with seating, a barbecue and a rest area with three deck chairs in the shade of a hedge.
Our guest can also make use of our bicycles, a ping-pong table, and other games including boules, darts and board games.
